Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of the EquiMail service, available at https://equimail.fr: an email assistant that categorises emails, handles unsubscribes, detects cold outreach, tracks awaited replies and prepares drafts using artificial intelligence.

2. Account and access

• An account is created via Google, Microsoft, or email and password.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• An account is personal; the mailboxes you connect must be yours, or entrusted to you with permission.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use EquiMail to:

• access a mailbox without its owner’s permission;
• send spam or unlawful content through drafts and replies;
• attempt to bypass security measures or access other users’ data;
• resell or sublicense the service without written agreement.

4. How the AI works

AI suggestions (categories, cold outreach verdicts, drafts) are decision aids: you remain solely responsible for the emails you send and the actions you confirm. AI features are included in the paid plans; free accounts are subject to a daily usage quota.

5. Availability

EquiMail is provided “as is”, with a high availability target but no guarantee of absolute continuity. Third-party APIs (Google, Microsoft, AI providers, Stripe) may affect the service beyond our control.

6. Intellectual property

The application, its trade mark and its design remain the property of EquiMail. Your emails and data remain yours: we acquire no rights over them beyond what is necessary to operate the service (see the privacy policy).

7. Termination

You may remove your connected mailboxes and stop using the service at any time. We may suspend an account for breach of these Terms, with prior notice except in a security emergency.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will fall to the competent courts, after seeking an amicable settlement.

9. Governing version

This page is an English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy or dispute, the French version of these Terms prevails.
